OUR THON CHAIRS
This group of hardworking individuals are dedicated to working for DSP THON. They coordinate the fraternities involvement to support pediatric cancer. These chairs are responsible for managing the efforts to maximize Delta Sigma Pi's contributions to THON. They work to foster the spirt and enthusiasm to make a difference for the families impacted by cancer.
Overall Chair, Theo Koch:
"As the Overall THON Chair, my role consists of being a liaison between Internal THON and the fraternity as well as overseeing everything we are doing in our THON efforts. This includes communicating with 4 other chairs and overseeing their roles as well as 15 committee members that add extra support to the events and fundraising we host. I THON because it takes childhood cancer and turns it into an uplifting, supportive and positive atmosphere. Make a positive impact on someone else’s life is something we all have the opportunity to do and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity that DSP THON has given me."
Donor & Alumni Relations Chair, Kate Replogle:
"With DAR I have an amazing opportunity to work with alumni and donors to create last relationships thought THON! I get to send newsletters to keep them updated as well as work with their companies to increase corporate matching. I also get the opportunity to work with Theo to encourage participation and fundraising through DonorDrive. I am so thankful for this opportunity with DSP THON! FTK Always!"
Community Outreach & Event Development, Kylie Gilliard:
"I have the amazing opportunity to work with all of our very own hometowns in planning events that not only raise money for DSP THON, but also spread the inspiring mission of THON to an entire community. I also have the privilege of planning our annual THON Gala where we honor our three THON families and our THON dancers right before THON Weekend. I THON for more smiles, more laughs, more memories that last a lifetime, and for our amazing THON families that we are so lucky to know. FTK Always and Forever!"
Fundraising Chair, Steve Mazza:
"I have the pleasure to plan all of our alternative fundraising events for the fraternity. I find different ways to have high engagement with fundraisers in the brotherhood. I THON for more memories, more smiles, and so kids can be kids. For the Bushes, for the Schneiders, for the Wrights."
Family Relations Chair, Frances Barzano-Argain:
"For my position I have the most amazing opportunity to establish such special relationships and bonds with each of our families who have been directly impacted by childhood cancer. Being so close with our THON families I have been able to see the direct impact and have such a deep understanding for THON. I make sure to keep in constant communication with them and help them in any way possible. I also am in charge of planning events with our families, and letting them know of important upcoming dates like THON 5K or Family Carnival! For this position I act as a liaison from the families to the brotherhood of Delta Sigma Pi, keeping brothers up to date on the families along with planning events with our families so our brotherhood can then establish relationships with our families as well! This is such a special position and I am so grateful for the memories I have made and look forward to making more with our amazing families!"
